Host blogger – Dan Fisher, CEO, Physical Gold Ltd
Daniel Fisher, CeFA, is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning and has worked in the investment banking industry for nearly 15 years. He spent much of that time working within the new issue fixed income business at a top tier US bank. In his role he traded a large book of fixed income securities, raised capital for some of the largest government, financial, and corporate institutions in the world, and advised the leading global institutional investors.
“My market experience has provided a great insight into the world of investment at a very high level, providing knowledge of the risks and rewards of the various asset classes. I came to realise that even the most sophisticated institutional investors are now seeking simplicity, safety, transparency, and preservation with their investment strategy. These are the key values we’ve carried over into this company, and investing in physical gold meets these principles.”
After seeing first hand how the average person in the US is now investing some of their money and pension in gold, Mr Fisher believed it was time that UK residents were made aware of this well kept secret, and benefited from its great tax advantages.
“The average person in the UK 10 years ago would not have known which type of mortgage they had if you asked them. Now everyone knows about the different categories of home loan available and they are being more proactive in selecting the correct one for their needs. We now want to spread this pro-activity to people’s investments and pensions, and enlighten investors that they don’t have to sit and watch their property, stocks, and pension fall in value. They can now do something about it, and invest in physical gold.”
